2008 STREET IMPROVEMENT SALES TAX ELECTION

In 1997, the City of Perry electorate wisely approved their first City sales tax committed to the maintenance, repair and construction of our public roadways.

Over the past decade this 1/2 cent sales tax raised over $2,000,000 and has served as the sole source for local street project funding.

This tax will expire on December 31, 2007, and the City of Perry will once again be without a public-supported street improvement fund.
